Martha “Delana” (Cooper) Taylor, 58, of Acworth passed away Monday, February 5th, 2024 surrounded by her family and friends.

Services will be held on Sunday, February 11th in the chapel of Georgia Funeral Care, 4671 S. Main Street, Acworth, GA 3010. Visitation will begin at 12:30 followed by a memorial service at 2:00.

Born May 3rd, 1965, Delana spent most of her childhood in Marietta, GA before moving to Acworth where she and Brent raised their family. She enjoyed traveling, bird watching, and visiting with friends and family. She loved animals and rescued many, but none stole her heart like her precious dog, Mabel.

Most of all, Delana enjoyed being a Momo and spending time with her grandkids. Delana was preceded in death by her father, Herman J. Cooper Sr, Mother Ernestine Cooper, and sister Christa Prater.

She is survived by her loving husband, Brent Taylor, son Tyler Gibbs (Whitney), daughters Danielle Streetman (Randy), Cassey Gibbs (John), and Leah Taylor. Grandchildren Chianne Dawson, Macie Thomas, AJ Streetman, Lane Holley, Jonah Holley, Slayde Streetman, Braxten McCrary, Laina McCrary, and Delilah Gibbs.

Great Grandchildren,  Lexie Graham, Wyatt Streetman, Wrenly Streetman, and three others on the way! Brothers, Herman Cooper Jr, Scott Cooper, and Tommy Cooper, and sisters, Theresa Hamrick, and Arlene Henderson.
